Moving my family to St. Petersburg a couple years ago was something that I thought was a bad decision for my family. Our first two weeks in the new place was a horrifying one after we became instant victims of burglary which resulted in taking away of some of our precious personal jewelries. Since we were then new in the neighborhood; the incident created an impression that we may have moved to a community where it would not be safe for us. One good thing with our new place is that the previous owners had installed surveillance cameras in some of the strategic parts of the house and from there we saw a very young man sneaked inside the rooms and took away our precious valuables. The police responded to our call and got hold of the surveillance tapes which then resulted to the apprehension of the suspect a few days later. It turned out that the suspect was a young teen who had a prior history of similar crimes and was suffering from a psychological disorder. During the initial investigation of the case, the teen was represented by a criminal attorney st petersburg and it was also during my first encounter with the kid that he admitted hi guilt to the crime. The criminal attorney st petersburg was caught off guard with the statement of his client but could not stop him from making further admissions. After having admitted to the crime coupled with the information I received that the kid was suffering from a mental problem, I decided to withdraw the complaint on the condition that the accused return the things he stole or their value. After the kid’s case was dropped, he was then sent to a mental institution to undergo treatment. Since then, everything turned out smoothly in our new found home
